With the winter weather in Kent being what it is, we gardeners look out the window and feel more than frustrated. The long and cold dark days are something we all endure but are keen to bypass, wishing for Spring and its warmer temperatures. Well, fellow gardeners do not despair! You can brighten up your garden even on the dullest winter day. The choice of plants available for Spring, Summer, and Autumn is endless and we can spoil ourselves with thousands of varieties that charm, delight, and dazzle. However, there are numerous shrubs, perennials, and bulbs that can prolong the seasonal interest right through the winter and beyond. I have listed here some of my favourites (not that I'm biased!). I hope these choices will charm and surprise you into considering these for your Kent garden.
